Prague, November 11th - 13th, 2015 ERA hosted the 10th meeting of NATO SET-195 panel representatives in its Prague office focused on DMPAR (Deployable Multi-band Passive Active Radar) short term solution verification. The meeting was widely attended by representatives from CNIT Italy, ERA Czech Republic, FFI Norway, Fraunhofer FHR Germany, PIT-RADWAR Poland, Thales France and WUT Poland. The final meeting day was devoted to a factory visit of ERA and a presentation entitled the Multilateration (TDOA) system and its application in the ATM and military sector.
Pardubice, November 5th, 2015 ERA received a special prize for subsidizing the local school Svítání in its home town of Pardubice. As part of the gala evening entitled The Night of Grace, organized once a year, the school's remarkable sponsors were recognized and praised for their support. A ceramic plaque of three ancient goddesses “The Graces” was made by Svítání students in their art classes.
Pardubice, October 29th, 2015 ERA is proud to announce that they have signed a new contract of support to promising speed skater Karolina Erbanova for the second year. Last season Karolina has enjoyed immense success – taking part in all of the 2014 World Cup races she won two bronze medals (World Championship) and other remarkable places ranking from4th to 6th. Now she is back in full training programme for the upcoming season getting ready for World Cup races in Calgary, Canada, Salt Lake City, US, and several others organized in the Netherlands and Germany.
Attersee, Austria, October 2015 The ERA diving team takes action once again. A group of Czech professional scuba divers led by ERA groundsman Boris Gol established a new goal – they plan to search for the remains of the Czechoslovak steamship M/S Pionýr. It shipwrecked on a coral reef near the island Mayaguana, part of the Bahamas in the Atlantic Ocean in August 1969. The expedition starts at the end of November, but the team has already organized a reunion at an off-site meeting in Austria to discuss the details and train at Attersee Lake.
