The Health & Wellness Trailblazer Award is for companies who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to employee health and wellness through innovative programs like on-site fitness facilities, employee access to nurses and health coaches and incentives for participating in wellness programs.

American Freedom Foundation, Silver Sponsorship Appreciation Award, 2009
The American Freedom Foundation honors veterans of America’s armed forces and raises money and awareness for veteran’s organizations, especially in the areas of veterans’ welfare and educational issues. The Festival is an annual fundraising event to support wounded warriors. SRA was recognized for its support and sponsorship.

Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals’ (AMCP) Annual Awards, 2008-2009
SRA received the following awards from the AMCP: Gold Award 2008, SRA Web Site; Platinum Award 2008, Annual Report; Gold Award 2009, Annual Report and Cyber Security Brochure; Platinum Award 2009, Corporate Brochure. The AMCP awards are an international competition recognizing professionals who excel in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communications materials.

Best Place to Work for in Northeastern Pennsylvania (Scranton), Large Company, Happenings Magazine, July 2009
SRA was named Best Place to Work for in Northeastern Pennsylvania by Happenings Magazine, a monthly lifestyle magazine covering the region since 1969. This employee-nominated award recognized SRA for its excellent benefits, salaries and work/life flexibility.

Bisnow Green Leadership Award, 2008
Bisnow on Business e-publications, which cover Washington DC metro area news reporting on government, technology and real estate, recognized SRA with its first annual Green Leadership Award. SRA received the award for its Energy Star-rated Arlington, VA office and other efforts to promote cost-effective, sustainable measures. Winners were selected by Bisnow staff, the Tower Companies, the U.S. Green Building Council, George Washington University and the Sustainable Business Network of Washington.

Federal 100 Awards, Federal Computer Week 2009
SRA employee Amanda Post was recognized as a Fed100 awardee, which recognizes professionals that have helped advance the way government agencies and companies develop, acquire and manage information technology.

The Frank B. Rowlett Trophy for Organizational Achievement
The National Security Agency (NSA) recognized the combined team of Information Resource Management (IRM) and Diplomatic Security (DS) at the U.S. Department of State with its 19th Annual Frank B. Rowlett Award for organizational achievement. The teams received this award for their work on the iPost Risk Scoring Program where SRA is the prime contractor supporting DS as a part of the Security Assurance Services & Innovation (SASI) Blank Purchase Agreement.

MODSIM World 2009 Conference Best Paper Award in the Defense and Homeland Security Track: The Application of Modeling and Simulation In Capacity Management Within The ITIL Framework authored by SRA International employees (167 KB)
MODSIM World is a unique multi-disciplinary International Conference and Exposition for the exchange of modeling & simulation knowledge, research, and technology across industry, government, and academia.

Quality Management Award, Czech Quality Association, ENVIRO Conference 2009
Era Systems, a subsidiary of SRA, received a quality management award from the Czech Quality Association for performance over a five year period in the category of medium-sized organizations.

The Supply Chain Excellence Awards, Operational Excellence Award, 2009
The Supply Chain Council (SCC), a global not-for-profit organization and owner of the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR®) Model, presented SRA with the 2009 Operational Excellence Award, which recognizes organizations that understand the critical role of, and are committed to optimizing, supply chain performance.
