James G. McClave
Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa
As Vice President of SRA Europe, Middle East and Africa, Jim McClave is responsible for identifying future growth opportunities and leading SRA’s efforts to expand its business in these international regions.
McClave previously served as Vice President, Offerings and Products where he managed SRA’s R&D, product development efforts and horizontal offerings in cyber security, enterprise resource planning, counter group analytics, and learning management. Prior to this, he held a number of key leadership roles with the company including Vice President and Director of the Products and Offerings strategic business unit in SRA’s National Security sector, Vice President and Deputy Director of the Command and Control, Communications and Intelligence (C31) Sector and Director of the ORION Center for Homeland Security.
McClave joined SRA in 2004 through the acquisition of ORION Scientific Systems, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He co-founded ORION, an information technology solutions company that specialized in designing, developing and implementing systems for counterterrorism and law-enforcement applications.
Earlier in his career, McClave co-founded ScienceServer – a joint venture that developed and supported a web-based scientific journal distribution and analysis system. He also co-founded PEsource (Private Equity Source), a company that collects and analyzes data on the US and international private equity marketplace.
McClave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Colgate University and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the George Washington University.
