Richard J. “Rick” Nadeau
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2009, Rick Nadeau brings more than 32 years of executive-level experience in the private sector.
Nadeau joined SRA from Sunrise Senior Living Inc. where he served as CFO. While there, he successfully led the company’s efforts to improve its governance, accounting and internal control processes. He also oversaw the accounting, budgeting and finance operations, as well as the information technology, venture relations and asset management departments.
Nadeau began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP in 1977. During his 25 years with the company, he developed considerable experience in private debt and equity offerings, quality and risk management and accounting for complex business combinations. Later, he spent five years at KMPG as a senior reviewing partner where he was the lead engagement and audit partner for many large-scale, complex companies including a number of government contractors in the Washington, D.C. area.
Nadeau holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
