Internships

SRA offers interns a chance to experience life as an SRA employee first-hand. You’ll have real responsibilities and work alongside experienced leaders and other smart, motivated people. We are in the business of technology and strategic consulting, so we’re looking for people who share an interest in what we do. A strong academic performance combined with professional curiosity, energy and a sound work ethic is just as important. We also encourage you to learn about our culture by reviewing our web site and taking with employees, alumni and classmates who have interned with us.

We offer 9- to 12-week summer internship positions in our main office locations. The summer analyst role is for candidates currently pursuing a college or university degree. Candidates will have two rounds of interviews. We’ll discuss your experiences and future goals and determine if your skills and interests meet our needs.

How to Apply

If you are interested in securing one of our coveted internships, there are two ways to do it. First, check our campus recruiting schedule to see if we’ll be at your school. You can find this information on the Campus Connections web page on this site. If we are at your school, visit our booth during Career Day and talk with us, then apply through your school’s career center. If we are not visiting your campus, visit the “Find a Career @ SRA” page and search for “Internship”.

If you’re selected, here’s what you can expect from your internship:

  • Orientation – Your internship will begin with a one-day general orientation. You’ll learn about our culture and the benefits and responsibilities of working at SRA. The general orientation is complemented by structured social events which include interacting with senior SRA executives as well as recent college hires.
  • Work Experience – Your assignments will allow you to actively contribute to the business team’s mission. Our goal is to provide interns with meaningful work and an opportunity to develop their skills.
  • Learning Sessions – Throughout the summer, you will participate in company-wide and business-specific learning sessions. Corporate sessions provide insight into all areas of our company while business-specific sessions delve into the topics most relevant to a particular area.
  • Mentoring – Your team leader, along with each SRA professional you come into contact with, is committed to mentoring you throughout your internship. We strive to offer you real responsibilities and meaningful experiences to help you make important career choices. You will also be paired up with an experienced analyst or associate who answers questions, helps you figure out how to complete your work, shows you where to find the information you need and looks out for your general well-being.
  • Community Service – At SRA, we don’t just talk about giving back to the community, we take action. You’ll experience first-hand our passion and commitment to community work and have the opportunity to participate in one of our many projects. Learn more about our commitment to Community Service.
  • Networking – Throughout the summer, you will be attending networking events where you will have the opportunity to interact with SRA employees who are some of the brightest talent in the industry, and have fun at the same time.
