Health Research and Program Support
SRA has a strong commitment to supporting and conducting research to help agencies achieve their health-related missions. From studying environmental exposures and asthma in post-Katrina New Orleans to evaluating child welfare programs in Kent County, Michigan, to performing medical coding for national health utilization surveys, we conduct a range of experimental and population-based research activities.
Our expertise spans a variety of disciplines that enable us to make a difference in areas such as environmental health, occupational health, mental health, military health, public health preparedness, and other domains. We provide integrated and focused solutions in broad areas of clinical research and experimental studies, survey research, evaluation research, public health informatics, public health program management and strategic planning that address both time-critical and long-term project requirements.
SRA’s research typically includes close collaboration with client researchers and has resulted in joint publications in leading scientific journals. We have developed new statistical and mathematical models for analyzing complex data, described study designs and results, and reported on new research advances.
Whether we’re evaluating the effectiveness of a state cancer fund, conducting a survey to assess the use of electronic record systems, supporting the National Toxicology Program or developing novel ways to analyze genomic data, SRA implements sound scientific methods that lead to successful research endeavors.
